Log Cabin Treehouse
Built for three children, our client desired this treehouse to feel like a log cabin — or at least to look like one.
We designed a simple structure with classic lines, meeting our client’s budget and schedule. The exterior color scheme was carefully chosen, and below the treehouse are three swings: one for each child.
Though just 80 square feet plus a covered porch, we found the finished treehouse quite pleasing. It offers the welcoming feel of an old Pan Abode kit house. Inside we built a writing desk and storage bench.
Reclaimed windows were refurbished and add a nice touch to the log cabin appearance. This treehouse is sure to provide many days and nights of adventure over the years to come.
